What changes do you do?
We offer a high quality proofreading service. In addition to correcting aspects such as your grammar, punctuation and spelling, we will also edit your essay to make it more academic. We will elaborate on any sentences which are too basic and strengthen your arguments. We will also substitute basic language for formal language to make your essay more professional. What do you offer in your paraphrasing/re-writing service?
We will re-write what you have written in our own words as well as keeping your meaning.

I have a very long dissertation and am afraid that my deadline is too short for you to complete my proofreading. Do you have any advice?
You do not have to send us your whole essay all at once. Once you have finished each section, you can send us that section for proofreading. We can be proofreading this section e.g. your introduction while you are writing another section e.g. your method.
I will send you my work next week, will you have enough proofreaders for my work?
We do have very busy periods, but if you tell us when you are sending your work we can reserve a proofreader for you. Please tell us approximately how many words you will have, what day you will send it and what day you need it retuned.
There are only some parts of my essay that I want a re-writing service for. Can I have a mixture of a proofreading and re-writing service?
Yes. If you want a mixture then please let us know. All you need to do is to highlight in red the words that you want to be re-written. We will then re-write the red words and proofread any words not in a red colour. We only charge you the re-writing fee for the red words. This is a good way of saving money.
How long does it take to complete the bank transfer?
Generally, the bank transfer is instantaneous and once you have made the payment, we will receive it immediately.
How do I transfer money from my account?
Simply transfer via Internet banking or alternatively you can call your bank to make the transfer. Please contact us at service@proofessor.co.uk to arrange this.
Who are your proofreaders?
All our proofreaders are native English and we are very selective as to who we choose to join our team. They have all met the strict criteria that we require before we employ them.
Can I pay you after you have proofread the essay?
We pay our proof reader before they start their work and due to previous non-paying customers and as a result of the loss we made, we will have to receive the payment before the work can commence.
Do you check the contents to ensure the essay is correct?
Our job is to ensure that your use of English is professional and academic. Our work helps you get across your arguments clearly. However, ultimately you are responsible for the subject specific content of your essay. Since we do not do your subject we can not advise you on the content of your essay.
My essay is currently 5000 words, however the word limit is 2000 words. Can you tell which parts I don’t need?
Unfortunately we cannot advise you on which parts you don’t need because this is about the subject content of your essay. As we don’t do your subject we do not know which parts your examiner will value more. We can however, let you know if you are repeating parts and will tell you if it is unnecessary.
Do you provide essay writing services?
We do not write essays for customers. However, if you put your arguments in bullet point form then we do have proofreaders who are skilled in expanding upon your bullet points to form a more detailed argument. Please let us know if you need this service.

We have included what we specialise in on our website. However, we are flexible company and we will do our best to accommodate our customer’s needs if we can. If you require another service that is not listed then please contact us and we will discuss it with you.
